VIN Locking Policy

Vin locked means units will marry to the first car they are connected to and will no longer work with a different car afterwards.  The unlocked version can be transferred from vehicle to vehicle.

All bTres units purchased through 9/15/2022 will marry to the first vehicle's VIN it's connected to.  These units can be unlocked for a fee of $150 by the original purchaser plus shipping.

All bTres units sold after are either sold as locked or unlocked units at the time of purchase.   I do offer a service to unlock it for a fee of $350 for the full bTres and $200 for the bTres mini.   I do make some exception on occasion.  Please reach out if you have any questions.
